I've found the perfect use for the Polaroid 600SE and 127mm lens that I have. The 600SE is not a fast camera to use: it is bulky, it does not autofocus, it uses a rangefinder, you need to cock it to fire it and crank the film back twice to get to the next frame. However, the 127mm is a very fine lens I've discovered, I really love the 6x7 neg image and the whole assembly is pretty damn impressive. It definitely gets the subject's attention. Whether or not they are curious or dumbfounded why someone would want to slow down their shooting like this -- I don't know. So I've started a series of street portraits.
