SWAT Team: raw shot from Sunday

Swat rough

SWAT rough

A quick post of a shot I did yesterday during a rough and tumble shoot with nine actors, weapons and two hours. These actors were taking a gun handling workshop designed to teach them how to handle prop weapons to be believable and safe. I came in to shoot some promos for the arms master and, as a side benefit to the actors, some promo shots for each of them as well. I'll have a full report later with some more shots.

This shot is basically unedited and could serve as a 'before' shot. I have to do some big clean up on this for example cloning out the light stands. The bigger job will be accounting for the lack of fill in their lower bodies. This shot was taken near the end of the session when all of my battery strobes were blinking on and off due to weak batteries (I had already substituted my spares). While my key (main) light was a trooper -- being a monolight Alien Bees B800 -- I could have killed for another B800 as a fill. Oh well.

More griping later.
