Once again, 30D dies
I had another photographer contact of my tell me: "Keith, your shit is always breaking" and it's true but mostly true of my Canon 30D. It seems to die at the most inopportune times and it may be the camera gods telling me to bite the bullet and upgrade.
Yesterday, in the middle of the folk fest, I turned it off and then turned it on and it wouldn't give me power, nothing. After returning home (I only live blocks away) I replaced the battery, and nothing. I took out the 3V watch battery (C32019) and put it back in and all I get now is a persistent print button glowing.
I'll try to put in a new watch battery to see if that makes a difference.
I did return to the folk festival with only film cameras :) I have several rolls to develop sometime today between shooting. Here are three shots I managed to take before it did die.
