This is what I do to settle down especially when my mind and body are in turmoil temporarily. I've painted two works and this is number two. Ever since I was young I liked drawing cartoon animals so this is reaching way back now to my childhood.

Dead Bunny #1: Jean LaBeet is an 11x17" acrylic on canvas and features a description:

First in a series of 20 famous dead bunnies. This one is the pirate Jean LaBeet, who was killed by an exploding carrot mistakenly aimed his way by crewmember in the heat of the action. His last words were not recorded but some close to him claimed he said: "they can take my life but I have already tasted the roots of happiness."
