Today, I'm back to work in front of a computer and feeling not a little bit wrecked. I put down my camera mid-afternoon and went home to develop the three rolls of 120 that I had shot that day. Then after fortifying myself with heavily pasta dinner went to go dancing in the 'young person's' finale at the festival.

That was Beats Antique at Stage Three. I squeezed into the front center stage and danced my saggy ass off in the midst of all the twenty-somethings. I think I did pretty fine but there was that one other photographer who was pointing at me and laughing a lot. I'm curious to see if I showed up in some Reddit theme about age-inappropriate behaviours.

Another blank roll

I did have another disappointing moment when I realized in looking at my 35mm camera that I had loaded with black and white that I hadn't actually shot anything with it. It had just failed to take up the leader and never advanced. At least this time I figured it out before wasting the effort and chemicals of processing another blank roll.

So I just retrieved the leader and will shoot it properly this week. Still, sadness for images that were never taken. :(
